"Sensory Ramble" guided forest therapy walk in Central Park
17 Nov. 2019 08:30 - 11:30Health & wellnessScience and technology
Leaves change color and fall, and the air continues to cool. Wake up your senses with an autumn forest therapy walk! Enjoy the many invitations that will connect us with this transitional time of year.
Forest therapy enhances wellbeing through gentle immersion in forests and other natural environments. It is a way to connect with nature, yet it is more than that. It is a way to awaken deep and nourishing parts of oneself that often don't receive a lot of attention in our fast paced, technology-driven lives. It is not a science-oriented naturalist activity or an athletic activity, but rather a profound, sensory-focused experience.
