Spring Break Session: April 15th-20th
Summer Camp Session 1: June 17th-21st
Summer Camp Session 2: June 24th-28th
Summer Camp Session 3: July 8th-12th

Summer Camp Session 6: July 29th-Aug 2nd
Summer Camp Session 7: August 5th-9th
Summer Camp Session 8: August 12th-16th
All weekly sessions begin on Monday and conclude on that Friday. Camp begins daily at 1pm and concludes daily at 5pm. If early drop-off or late pick-up is needed, please e-mail or call us to discuss options prior to registering. We have a contract with a local babysitter who can come to "babysit" from 9am-1pm. This will be not be dedicated ninja time, but will take place solely on the premises.
What can my child expect at camp? What does a day look like?
Each day our session will start with a warm-up and a "break the ice" activity so campers can get to know one another and the instructors. After this, campers will work on "ninja warrior" related obstacles and skills under the supervision of our trained ninja instructors.
In addition to strength and skill development, participants will take part in other fun activities and games, culminating at the end of the week with an obstacle course challenge.
A typical day might look like this (note: this is just to give parents an idea what a day might entail; the timing and order of activity may change).
12:45-1:00 – Campers arrive
1:00-1:15 – Warm up and ice breaker activity
1:15-2:30 – Ninja Warrior obstacle training
2:30-2:45 – Snack break
2:45-3:30 – Ninja Warrior obstacle training
3:30-4:30 – Ninja Warrior training games (think "ninja kickball" or "ninja capture the flag")
4:30-5:00 – Supervised open gym, cool down, discussion about the day's activities and what to expect the following day
5:00-5:10 – Campers picked up
We know that ninja training can be tiring and sometimes kids just need a break. We will have a staff member available at all times to provide other activities in a quiet environment. Activities such as board games, reading, or watching NBCs American Ninja Warrior or American Ninja Warrior Jr. can be done in our child care room (with an instructor).
If early drop-off or late pick-up is needed, please e-mail or call us to discuss options prior to registering. We have a contract with a local babysitter who can come to "babysit" from 9am-1pm. This will be not be dedicated ninja time, but will take place solely on the NoVa Ninja premise.
Who will be instructing and supervising my child during each session?
The weekly camps are programmed and directed by two-time American Ninja Warrior competitor, owner of NoVa Ninja, and mother of two, Casey Passafaro. In addition, General Manager, Joye Elsbury, (mother of ninja coach Clay) will be overseeing all activities each week and will be the direct point of contact for parents with children enrolled.
In addition to Casey and Joye, each camp will have additional trained ninja coaches working directly with the children at all times on the floor. There will always be a CPR and First Aid certified instructor present in the facility. The facility is monitored via secured video surveillance in all areas of the gym.
What skill level is required to attend camp?
All skill levels are encouraged to sign up for camp, regardless if your child has never trained in a ninja warrior gym or if they are an expert kid ninja! Our instructor to camper ratio is very small and children will be working with an instructor at the appropriate skill level. The recommended age for potential campers is 6-17 years old.
My child is younger than 6 years old; is this something he or she can participate in? I’m certain he/she’d love it!
This is not a question of how athletic your child is, but more so how well they can focus and socialize in an athletic setting with other children. If you have a 5-year-old that you would like to register, please email us at email@example.com to discuss this and recommendations will be given on a case by case basis. We cannot accommodate any children under the age of 5.
How much does it cost?
The price for one child is $375 for the week. All purchases are final. We cannot offer refunds or pro-rate for partial weeks.
If you register between now and March 15th, you can register for the day camp for only $325! From March 16th onwards it’s the full retail price.
We do offer a sibling discount in addition to multi-week discount. All children must be registered individually regardless of relationship.
Please use the following registration codes at checkout which apply to the above scenarios:
Early bird discount code available now through March 15th ($50 savings): NINJA50
Sibling discount code (20% off additional child's registration): NINJA20
Multi-week discount (15% off all weeks registered if registering for more than 1 week at time of initial registration. Multiple weeks must be purchased on same ticket): NINJA15
Can I just register for more than one week?
Yes, absolutely! These are weekly camps with different themes, skills, and in-house activities. Just choose the week(s) you would like under the ticket type. Multiple weeks can be purchased at the same time on the same registration form. If you are registering your child for more than one week, please use discount code NINJA15 and enjoy 15% off all weeks.
How do I register for a spot?
Please use Eventbrite to register! You can register for multiple weeks at a time. All campers must be registered individually. Please do not purchase the same week (i.e. by selecting 2 tickets on the same week) for two campers. If this is done by mistake, we will certainly help fix it and make sure we have information and reservations for each child!
What if my child has to miss a day due to illness, injury, or some other circumstance out of our control?
No problem. Every day is different and due to the small number of allotted children per session, the ratio of camper to instructor is very low. We will help your child catch up on any skills covered in the day(s) missed.
What is the cancellation and date change policy?
If you registered for a specific camp week and need to change the date, we ask that you communicate your schedule change to us at least four weeks before the camp date so we can adjust participant count accordingly. If the camp week desired is full, we cannot accommodate the change. We do not offer refunds for day camp purchases due to limited spots and early planning of local families. All sales are final.
Do you offer transportation services?
No, we do not offer transportation to or from the gym.
What should the campers bring? What do they wear?
Campers should bring a light snack, water bottle, and wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes (lace up shoes preferred)! Please, no open-toed shoes, sandals, or flip-flops. Tennis shoes, sneakers, and running shoes are appropriate. We will provide lockers for campers to keep their belongings in during the day while at camp. Personal belongings are allowed to be brought in with the understanding that NoVa Ninja is not responsible for any of these items.
I would like to come see the gym before the summer camp starts; when can I do that?
You’re welcome to check out the gym in person! Send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to come in.
What are the payment Terms?
We require payment in full to complete registration and reserve a spot.
What is your refund / cancellation policy?
Due to high demand for our camps, if you are unable to attend for any reason, we cannot issue refunds. We will make every effort to reschedule your child into a camp with available slots, but due to space and time constraints, we cannot guarantee that if you cancel a reservation, you will be able to make it into another camp. Last-minute cancellations not only mean that your child is unable to attend camp, but that someone else’s child is also unable to. As you can imagine, filling a vacant spot with little or no notice is impossible.
Can I come watch my kids while they are attending the Day Camp?
We understand that parents want to watch how their kids are doing, especially with a new sport such as Ninja Warrior! We will have a "Ninja Skills Showcase” session for the last hour each Friday of Camp. This will be a time campers can show their parent(s) their favorite obstacles and everything they have learned to do That week. If you are not able to attend this hour, don't worry...we will record your child (with permission if desired) showing off their skills and send you a link upon pick-up!
If you have any additional questions, please contact Joye Elsbury, General Manager, at Joye@novaninja.com or via phone at 571-526-4706.
